I'm going to start off by welcoming Dustin Nguyen back to Batgirl. His return was highly anticipated, and it delivers phenomenally. Speaking as a guy that has Nguyen Bat-verse art hanging in his living room, the cover for this issue is absolutely breathtaking. In my humble opinion, the cover is worth the price of admission alone. That said, the interiors are of the quality I've come to expect. Every page is laced with movement, as the eye is drawn naturally from panel to panel with complete disconnect that you're even actively participating. For my money, there are very few artists that can deliver a superhero book as solidly as Nguyen, and issue #21 is a prime example. Inker Derek Fridolfs and colorist Guy Major help out as well, capitalizing on this issue's many settings and adjusting the tonality of the images accordingly. From cover to cover, this is one of the best looking books you'll find this week.
