So now that the series has completely wrapped up, I can say with absolute certainty that there was no reason for this title to ever see the light of day. The new information that's learned is trivial to the overall Mass Effect storyline. But more importantly, this comic just isn't very good.
Saren plays a bigger role but it still feels forced and any Turian could have filled his role. Though I suppose it could be inferred that the oath he makes to avenge the victims of the final outcome leads him down the path of the Reapers.
