The opening to this issue is a bit awkward, as the potential battle between Rogers and Steele quickly dovetails back into another sojourn into Steel's mind. The story picks up considerably from there, luckily, and readers are given answers to some key questions as well as scenes of a WWII-era Captain America and the Prince of Orphans battling a giant bug monster. Nothing to complain about there. It's unfortunate that Brubaker still couldn't make better use of his full team roster, but at least Beast is given a few small moments to shine.
