n an odd shipping week, we get both Secret Avengers #12 and #12.1. As a fan of the series, I'm not going to complain. Especially since #12 featured the final story from Brubaker and Deodato, while this .1 issue gives us a sneak peak at the series' new creative team Nick Spencer and Scot Eaton. Disregarding the fact that this is part of Marvel's hit-or-miss .1 series, the question everybody's asking about this time is whether or not it showed that Spencer was a worthy successor to expert scribe Ed Brubaker.
