I'm a writer. That means that sometimes I don't get to be too picky with the assignments that I take. Apparently, it's like that for X-Factor Investigations, too, as issue #225 shows us that X-Factor occasionally needs to take a job as strikebusters to pay the bills. Creative maneuvers like opening an issue on a union demolition site to showcase Rictor's reacquired powers and remind us that X-Factor is, first and foremost, a detective agency are why Peter David has earned a large and faithful following. In this issue, David puts the superpowered investigators back on the case, this time investigating the death of a vagrant criminal.
