This experience has intensified her conviction in relation to production, whether by hand or machine. Firstly an article must be well designed and secondly it must be well made. The high quality of work, from the above viewpoint, which has been achieved in classes under Miss Doughertys guidance, qualifies her to write this book, which will do much to raise the standard of Leatherwork as a hand craft.
