Helping Transnistria to win the 2010 World Cup finals and solving their financial problems, however, will involve reviving Transnistria’s most famous footballing son, Giorgio, (who was decapitated and cryogenically frozen in 1992) and easing him back into the limelight by giving his sex-obsessed bastard son the skills to be selected for the National Squad and then swapping them.
Nothing in life is that simple, of course, and the mafia, Al Queda, the CIA, Giorgio’s former wife, a pathologically jealous husband and a terminally ill multimillionaire do their best to make life complicated for our “heroes”.
