Astonishing X-Men began as a series devoted to offering the best and most accessible X-stories on the market. The series is certainly accessible still, but its quality has dipped back to somewhere in the realm of decent. If all you crave is fun, relatively light fare featuring the majority of the Astonishing cast, this new arc will suffice.
