The first 4 complete story arcs, as of March 2008. Alternate covers are not included. The only released v3 comic not included is "Astonishing X-Men Saga" - a recap of issues 1-12. Volumes 1 & 2 were miniseries in the 90s by different creative teams. After issue #24, the series will continue as "Astonishing X-Men: Second Stage" by the new creative team of Warren Ellis and Simone Bianchi. Whedon is currently working on a new "Serenity" miniseries.
