One of the more significant additions the DC Animated Universe made to DC's greater mythology was the world of Batman Beyond. Here viewers were introduced to a futuristic, cyberpunk take on Bats far removed from familiar tales The Dark Knight Returns and Kingdom Come. It's a world that has occasionally been explored in DC's books, but never to the liking of the show's fanbase. Luckily, that seems to be changing in 2010. After a Superman/Batman Annual set in the world of Batman Beyond and a brief nod in Batman #700, these characters are coming back in a bigger way. DC's latest Batman Beyond mini-series chronicles the further adventures of Terry McGinnis and Bruce Wayne , and fans should by all means give this comic a look.
