This is Season Eight of Joss Whedon's Buffy the Vampire Slayer. It is the canonical continuation of the adventures of Buffy Summers and her friends after the end of the television show.
Please note that while many issues refer to themselves as simply "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" on the indicia they are still part of the the "Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season Eight" volume.
