How do you follow near-perfection? That's the big question at stake here. Detective Comics #875 is, so far, my favorite single issue of the year. Yet, Part 1 of "Hungry City" proves to be an adequate successor, continuing to build upon the themes established in Scott Snyder's run thus far. Issue #876 turns the narrative back to Dick Grayson, who finds himself undertaking a new case when a giant orca whale shows up dead in the middle of a renowned Gotham City bank. A bank owned by Sonia Branch 鈥?the daughter of Dick's parents' murderer, Tony Zucco.
