Halo: Fall of Reach is easily Marvel's biggest Halo project so far in terms of size and scope, but the first mini-series also proved to be the most underwhelming of the bunch. The problem stemmed mainly from the fact that a pre-existing story was being adapted from a lengthy novel format to the more space-limited comics medium. Boot Camp felt rushed and abridged when held alongside the Fall of Reach novel, and to some degree Covenant suffers the same fate in its first issue.
