The conclusion to Acosta鈥檚 Casa Dracula series finds Milagro de Los Santos still smarting over the end of her engagement to handsome vampire Oswald. Milagro has gotten back together with Ian Ducharme, a devilishly enticing vampire, but she鈥檚 worried the two don鈥檛 see eye-to-eye on the issue of fidelity. Milagro鈥檚 encounters with her two vampire lovers have left her changed: she鈥檚 not a vampire, but her otherworldly strength and craving for blood make her something more than human. After discovering Ian cavorting with a human couple she distrusts, Milagro flees to England seeking Wilcox Spiggott, a vampire who longs to make the existence of his race public. Milagro hooks up with the seductive Wilcox, but when he visits her in L.A. and winds up dead in her bedroom, Milagro fears she has been framed for murder. As she struggles to find out who set her up, she realizes she has to make a choice between Ian and Oswald once and for all. A satisfying wrap-up to a snappy supernatural series.

You know, the polite thing to do is contact the author before posting her work on a free site. I appreciate that you like my books (and I really enjoyed writing Haunted Honeymoon) and I’m happy to do what I can for those who can’t afford books.

I can imagine that it is really frustrating to work very hard to write a book and then see it available on a free site, but if I hadn’t found and read your first book here, I would have never gone out and bought the set of three for a friend. So, if it’s any comfort, it’s not always a bad thing to have free books published. In fact, a number of times, I’ve had the opportunity to read one or two books of a series free and liked them so much that I bought the rest.
