The entire island is now ravaged by the disease. No one, including the three friends the story centers around have escaped. Initsii, the Syyanas princess is very ill, and her father is trying everything, including the sacrifice of newborns, to save her. Hutatsu, who has fallen into the hands of the conquistadors will tell them about betrayal of Abatirso. Meanwhile, Dathcino is serving as a guinea pig for doctors trying in vain to stem the spread of the disease. Three fates are intertwined in a struggle against invaders, the disease and the struggle for dignity and freedom.
