The whole idea of Kick-Ass is to give the feeling of a normal person dressing up as a superhero to fight crime. This series has followed the original by including other normal people and giving Dave a team and others to relate to. Reading this makes you feel like you're watching one of those documentaries on real-life superheroes. Then Mark Millar pulls the rug out from beneath you.
