Metro 2033: Britannia is the first novel set in 鈥楾he Universe of Metro 2033鈥?to be written in a language other than Russian.
Penned by Grant McMaster, Britannia is written in English and takes the popular Russian sci-fi series international.
Whilst the Russian translation has already been published, the English edition is due out soon.
The action unfolds in the same 2033, only now in the territories of Scotland and England where the population has fallen victim to the same nightmare of nuclear and bacteriological warfare which destroyed Russia.
If he ever wants to see his family again Euan must leave the security of his home in the old Metro beneath the city of Glasgow and pursue the slavers who have kidnapped his wife and children. Refusing to give up and accompanied only by Caitlyn, a mysterious young girl who he rescues whilst on the road, Euan must decide just how far he鈥檚 prepared to go as the trail leads ever further into the perilous south, the toxic wastelands which were once England.
Written and adapted by Grant McMaster and illustrated by Ben Hollis this is a small graphic adaptation of the prologue of Britannia.
