Blood River Down
An unemployed ex-football player's life can be pretty depressing. But Gideon Sunday finds that he prefers being depressed to being dead. Ever since he stepped into the magical land of Chey, people have looked to Gideon to be their savior. All he's wanted to do is go home, to some moderately poor scotch and his crossword puzzles. But try as he might, Gideon discovers that he can't desert the people who have made him feel like a winner for the first time in his life.
Web of Defeat
The events that had landed Gideon in this most bewildering land now conspire to strand him forever, and he is desperate. He has one way out, but it is a dangerous one. To find the Bridge that can bring him safely home, Gideon will have to brave monsters and wizards, combat demons and dragons, not to mention placate an amorous giantess that would just love him (probably to death) and confront two of the meanest witches this side of a nightmare. All Gideon has on his side is one oversize ram-horse called red, and one very used magical baseball bat.
Agnes Day
Chey certainly needs a hero now. Agnes, wicked wife of the evil sorcerer Wamchu, has broken away and threatens to destroy everything to gain control. Her Day of Power is fast approaching, and Gideon is Chey's last hope.
