Don't let the "bad" section fool you. This was a great book. First and foremost, new readers of Green Lantern or DC comics will have no problem jumping onto this book and loving it. You don't have to have one ounce of Green Lantern knowledge to understand what's going on in this book. Milligan and Benes do a great job briefly retelling the history of the Red Lanterns and their tie-in to the rest of the DC universe, and they make it interesting. It doesn't feel like a history lesson.
