About the Author
Russell Hoban (1925–2011) is the author of more than 50 books and is well-known for his fantasy fiction and his series of children's books about Frances, including Bedtime for Frances. For Riddley Walker, he won a John W. Campbell Memorial Award, an Australian Science Fiction Achievement Award, and was shortlisted for a Nebula Award. Adam Roberts is a novelist whose titles include By Light Alone, The Dragon with the Girl Tattoo, Gradisil, I Am Scrooge, JacNew Model Army, Salt, Swiftly, and Yellow Blue Tibia. His work has been nominated for the Arthur C. Clarke Award and the Philip K. Dick Award. David Mitchell is the acclaimed author of Cloud Atlas and The Thousand Autumns of Jacob De Zoet. He has twice been shortlisted for the Booker Prize.
