Ed Brubaker's Secret Avengers run comes to an unfortunately abrupt end this week with issue #12. This issue wraps up Brubaker's saga as well as can be expected, providing some closure for the Steve Rogers/John Steele conflict while also leaving the door wide open for future writers to continue the Shadow Council material.
