Over the years Anna has had many romantic short stories published in magazines. This is a collection of her earlier ones, which are set in both Australia and England. For each story Anna has taken readers behind the scenes, explaining the background and what gave her the idea in the first place.

Most of the stories are modern, but ‘Kissing Emily Baker’ goes back a few decades to when Emily was a girl.
The final story, ‘The Group Settler’s Wife’, is set in the 1920s in Australia. It first appeared in a short booklet of its own, but that’s out of print now.
Two of the stories, ‘A Sticky Affair’ and ‘One White Rose’, led to Anna using the ideas as the basis of novels later on.
