If nothing else, Avengers #12 proves you shouldn't complain about twist endings before knowing the whole story. A great uproar occurred when Thanos apparently clawed his way out of the Cancer-verse to appear in the final page of Avengers #11. The truth of the matter is far simpler and less damaging to Marvel continuity. Unfortunately, while that particular fire was snuffed out in issue #12, many other elements left me feeling cold.
