Led by a man called Butcher, the Boys are a team who are tasked with not only keeping tabs on the superhumans of the world, but also killing them if required. It's a multicultural task force which is backed by the CIA.
They often use methods such as blackmail to keep control over minor superhero delinquents, as well as beatings, mutilations, and even killing.
The team is made up of Butcher, an Englishman whose wife was raped and thereby indirectly killed by a Supe, Mother's Milk, an American whose mother was accidentally exposed to the chemical compound that makes Supes, the Female, a Japanese teenager who received a large dose of the Supe-making compound as a baby and was subsequently brought up as a research subject, which has led her to be emotionally disturbed and addicted to violence, the Frenchman, who's French, crazy, and the only one able to touch the Female without incurring serious bodily harm, and, finally, Wee Hughie, a Scotsmen whose girlfriend was killed when A-Train threw a villain through her, leaving him holding her arms Just her severed arms
