In 1966 a sudden and terrifying event shook the world. All of it, all at once. Without warning average people suddenly began to display incredible powers; strength, speed and mental abilities that defied explanation. Each unique and potentially debilitating. For with these gifts came a horrifying liability; emotional instability. An effect that causes each affected person to resonate to one specific emotion above all others, sending them into any of a thousand different states of mind. Most of them dangerous and nearly impossible to control.
Their known as the Infected.
Brian Yi lived his whole life barely aware of such beings, not caring about things outside of his control. Why worry about other people? Now he no longer has a choice.
Because thanks to the Infection, he now has to take the place of people in mortal danger and fight to save them. No matter what it costs. Taken in by the IPB, the Infected Protection Bureau, Brian has to learn to survive, to save everyone he can. Because if he doesn't, it won't just be his life in the balance.
