The New Avengers has been in a strange place as of late. Focusing on both Marvel's current timeline and the late fifties, we're still scratching our heads trying to find the one element that ties these two storylines together. While normally after a few issues this tactic would get grating, the combination of witty storytelling and tonally ideal art helps to move this story along in an entertaining manner.
