Venom #4 is some sort of contradiction that's hard for me to wrap my brain around. It's an issue comprised of mostly fighting, yet contrary to most books of this nature, you won't be finishing it within three minutes. Rick Remender has made sure that Venom #4 packs a lot of punch for your buck. Issue #4 also marks the end of the first story arc in Venom, satisfyingly wrapping up Flash's mission to stop a shipment of Vibranium to New York, while simultaneously planting the seeds for future drama between Venom, Jack O'Lantern, Crime Master, Betty Brant and Spider-Man.
