First off I don't play WI competitively and my intention in providing this review is to offer a perspective on why I feel this expansion is an essential buy for casual players who want a little more balance and variety in their decks without sinking tons of money into buying battle packs. My intentions in purchasing this were, 1.) to have more balanced factions to play with and 2.) to be able to tweak and customize the decks which came with the base set and Assault on Ulthuan (which I suggest acquiring before getting this expansion). For casual players I highly recommend picking this up before collecting any of the battle packs (unless you are a completest with money to burn). This is because the cards in the battle packs are incredibly hit or miss in regards to their value and utility. It is much easier to buy this well rounded expansion than to spend hours of research on deckbox trying to decide which BP's suck the least.
